BS HND
Human Nutrition Diet (HND)
HND (Human Nutrition and Dietetics) explores the relationship between diet, health, and well-being. The program combines biology, chemistry, and nutrition sciences to help students understand how nutrients support human growth, metabolism, and overall health.
The curriculum focuses on balanced nutrition, disease prevention, and the role of diet in managing conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Students gain practical experience through clinical training, research, and nutritional assessment.
Graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to promote healthy lifestyles, provide evidence-based nutritional guidance, and pursue careers in hospitals, community health, research, food industries, and wellness organisations.
