The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a five-year (10-semester) professional degree program designed to prepare students for a successful career in physical therapy. The curriculum combines comprehensive theoretical knowledge with extensive clinical training, enabling students to assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients with movement and functional disorders.

Students study core subjects including Human Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Pathology, Medicine & Surgery, Exercise Therapy, Electrotherapy, Neurology, Orthopedics, and Rehabilitation Sciences. Supervised clinical rotations in hospitals and rehabilitation centers provide valuable hands-on experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based practice.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply for professional registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC), Pakistan. They may also pursue international licensure by meeting the respective country’s requirements through recognized examinations and registration pathways, including NPTE (USA), SCFHS (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), HAAD (Abu Dhabi, UAE), DHA (Dubai, UAE), HCPC (United Kingdom), CORU (Ireland), QCHP (Qatar), and CPTE (Canada).

The DPT program prepares graduates to work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sports medicine facilities, community healthcare organizations, and private practice, helping improve patients’ mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
